We spent about 22 hours either in an airport or an airplane on Saturday.
I didn't exagerrate. 22 long hours of me sitting in an airplane or aiport thinking about my furry guys back home.
But we made it safely so I can't really complain. We flew on September 11th too, which means I had to show my passport about 15 times before boarding the plane in Ireland.
Ok, I exaggerated. It was actually about 6 times and I can't say I minded the added security.
I'll be back with details of the trip. But before I can do that I have 1,548 photos to sort through.
I didn't exaggerate. I actually have 1,548 photos to pick through.
Here's one of the first pictures I took. I could have taken this same photo about 25 times over the vacation.
I'll let you guess whether I exaggerted that number or not.

I went to London in 2002 and as soon as we got to London, England went on high security alert as there were a bunch of threats. Congress was debating about going to war with Iraq, so Americans (or government wasn't too popular). And the night before we flew home, they found a guy with a live hand gernade in his luggage so they shut down the aiport for about 12 hours. Yeah....security was a bit tight that day. I think between leaving the hotel extra early, flights, delays, ride from Detroit Metro to Flint to get car and drive to GR was about 22 hours.
BTW, I can't wait to see pictures.
Looking forward to your pictures! Despite the long travel time and being away from Toby and Gordie, I imagine it was all worth it and Ireland was amazing, right?
I came here hoping for photos. And then I realized, think you may have posted them on FB. Worth the trip here to see the dogs sharing pillow duty. Adorable.
